Google, it would be really cool and useful to have Presentation Tabs in a Presentation just like having multiple Sheets in a Spreadsheet. |

It is inefficient (for example) to remove an event occurring regularly say for a period you don't need it like when on travel. To delete each individual day by choosing "This event only" is very painful. Hence, if we could have a range of dates we could modify when without affecting All the Events, it would be great! Thanks. |

It would be very useful if we could have an option to attach files stored in Google Docs directly from GMail and sure it can be a hyperlink. It is a whole new way of sharing and collaboration. And, aligns well with "I Hate Attachments", which occupy redundant space when the same thing is sent to multiple people. It has to be via Google Docs.
Actually, Docs and Mail need better integration.
Thanks. |

Was just trying to call a friend across the other side of the globe. Had to visit Google Calendar to see the local time there. It would be pretty awesome if Google Voice could show the local time at the place where the call is placed to (using the country and area codes). |

We should have Tasks integrated into Google Docs as well. It would be very useful and especially if we could drag links to documents stored in Docs into Tasks. |

Well, for over an year now, I have been waiting to get my hands on an extension or a Google Labs feature earlier in GMail but now in Chrome itself (since I use many different applications where I type) which would count the number of words I type per day (say in replying to mails) and what are my peak hours. An advanced feature could be how much time I spend writing those words and with whom I am spending most time corresponding. I am sure it has already turned on your senses! I want to see the plots at the end of the year or a month to start with. So, something that would Sync all this data with my Google Account without bothering me to save it or back it up somewhere else.
Why I would prefer a Chrome extension and not a Google Labs feature? That's simply because a Chrome extension would work seamlessly across all tabs I use in Chrome and using Google Sync, it may even be machine independent, so in a given day, if I login to my account from different machines running Chrome with Google Sync enabled, it would be the same as working on the same machine all day.
Awesome, ain't it!? |

Well, often we need to underline, highlight, comment in the mails but we can't do it. We have to do it offline by taking prints or by using annotation software. So, if we could build up this capability, then GMail will be so much more awesome and useful.
Imagine if you could highlight the important points in a mail or a stack of conversations so you wouldn't have to go through the whole million lines of text but just the eye-popping text. It would be pretty cool! Thanks. |

It would be superb if a family could share member contacts. The idea is that different people in an extended family live at different places. They keep moving and hence their contact details keep changing. If we could (say) share our contact information (something like a .vcf) in real-time using Google Contacts such that if I were to move to a new location or change my number, I could update it in my Google Contacts and it would automatically get updated in every family member's contacts. Wouldn't it be amazing!? |

Some calendar features should be integrated in GMail and replace the annoying pop-up messages. A simple field displaying something similar to "Next meeting" in Google Calendar inside GMail would be very useful. The idea is not to shuttle to-fro between GMail and Calendar. I am sure many would agree with me. |

It would be very useful if we could see the current date, time, and temperature in GMail on the top. The same could be applied to Google's homepage as well but GMail would be very helpful. We wouldn't have to look on another screen for the time when using extended desktop or come out of full-screen anymore. Overall, it should also result in improved productivity for all.
Earlier, I had posted this suggestion for just the date and time but I realize that the temperature is equally useful though not more. Thanks. |
